Services for the Job Seeker: Individual, Family, and Group Programs These programs are designed for individuals and families needing support in facing everyday challenges. Assessments, evaluations, counseling and aftercare programs will help people manage their lives in a positive way so as to be a gainful member of the workforce. Housing Fleming House is a transitional supportive housing option for homeless women with a substance abuse/dependency problem and their children. Oxford House is a three-quarter way house for recovering men. Court Intervention Steering Clear is an option for individuals needing DUI diversion programming.
FRC also offers remedial driving classes and a Substance Abuse Treatment Program. Services for Employers: Drug Free Workplace Program This program works with businesses interested in starting a Drug Free Workplace and, as a bonus, employers are eligible to receive a discount from the Bureau of Workers Compensation. FRC provides consultations covering the requirements for this program and components of the workplace policy. FRC is certified to provide the required supervisor trainings and employee education sessions. Trainings cover requirements of the BWC and can be customized based on the employers needs. Employee Assistance Program Family Recovery Center can be listed in the DFW policy and work with employers to provide assessments and counseling to employees in need of alcohol or other drug interventions and treatment. FRC can also help employers identify other services within the community necessary to maintain and enhance employee productivity, for example, day care, housing and healthcare. Tri-County Family Violence Prevention Coalition Family Recovery Center is a member of the Tri-County Family Violence prevention Coalition with is a partnership of area agencies, organizations and individuals focused on the prevention of family violence. Businesses can adopt a policy in support of this initiative and receive training for their employees. Trainings are available to employers and employees in order to learn more about Workplace Violence, and liability and risk management issues, and how to work towards preventing workplace violence.
