Information About Obtaining Tuition Assistance

Within the One-Stop system are multiple agencies that may be able to assist in paying tuition, books, and/or fees for post secondary education. Some of these agencies administer Workforce Investment Act monies (MCTA and Trumbull County Dept of Job & Family Services), Ohio's Career Advancement Accounts, Trade Adjustment Assistance and Veterans (ODJFS), the Rehabilitation Services Commission (RSC), and local county monies. If you are interested in seeking tuition assistance from one or all of the agencies within your local One-Stop, please do not hesitate to ask questions.

In order to start the process in seeking tuition assistance:

1) Please complete the online One-Stop Self-Assessment by clicking here and click on "GET STARTED NOW" located at the upper right-hand of your screen.
2) Register and seek work on www.ohiomeansjobs.com.
3) Complete the FASFA form online by clicking here.

Once you have completed these steps, contact you local One-Stop to inquire what other steps you may need to complete in order to seek tuition assistance.
